MAMA MZAZI WA WASANII WANAOUNDA KUNDI LA P-SQUARE AZIKWA LEO.

The Afro-pop duo Peter and Paul Okoye (P-Square) along with their elder brother Jude and other relatives buried their late mother Mrs Josephine Okoye today, 2nd of August, 2012. She was laid to rest in her husband's residence at Ifite-Dunu, Awka Anambra. Late Mrs Josephine passed on after an unsucceful heart surgery that took place in India.

The Okoye family have released the burial arrangements for their mother Josephine Okoye, the family of pop sensation P-square, released a statement saying that the body, which is currently in a Lagos private mortuary, will be laid to rest in her husband’s house at Ifite-Dunu, Akwa Village, Anambra State on Thursday, August 2, 2012.

Shortly before the burial, there will be a lying-in-state in Umunachi, Umudioka Village, Anambra State, and a church service at St.. Gabriel Catholic Church, before the proper burial at Ifite-Dunu, which will also be the reception venue.

The one day funeral, as we reported earlier, will be anchored by M.I.C.

Mrs. Okoye died around 11PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, about five hours after a heart surgery in Apollo Hospital, India.

The family has disclosed that she suffered from diabetes.
